TEHRAN- Iran and Algeria agreed to establish four water companies.“We are going to establish four companies in water studies, dam building, irrigation networks, water and water treatment facilities as well as building required equipment,” said Iranian Power Minister Hamid Chit-Chian on the sidelines of a meeting with Algerian Minister of Water Resources Abdelwahab Nouri here in Tehran.

 

IFIF Public Relations- “We are going to establish four companies in water studies, dam building, irrigation networks, water and water treatment facilities as well as building required equipment,” said Iranian Power Minister Hamid Chit-Chian on the sidelines of a meeting with Algerian Minister of Water Resources Abdelwahab Nouri here in Tehran.

 

He also called Iran-Algeria ties ‘strategic’, and said “We are after establishing good ties with the country.”

 

Iranian Energy Ministry and Algerian Ministry of Water Resources personnel would receive training courses on water-related fields and have held five joint technical committees.

 

Strategic, international and bilateral ties are sought by Iran and Algeria and “We are ready for cooperation with Algeria,” Chit-Chian said./s
